Following the release of her book Love Is Light: Transmute Fear Into Love and its companion symphonic pop single Love Is Light, Canadian-Romanian pop/classical singer-songwriter and author Angelica Ganea launches a tour of Chapters/Indigo locations across the GTA, combining book signings with live performance.

A performer since childhood, Angelica Ganea immigrated from Romania to Canada at 24 speaking very little English. After building a life from scratch, she spent decades honing her craft; writing books on habit-building and wellness, creating and illustrating a children’s book, studying piano and music theory in her forties, and teaching herself orchestration and music production in her early fifties to fully realize the cinematic sound she envisioned. Today, thirty years later, Angelica is living proof that creativity has no expiration date.

 

Her work reflects what can happen when discipline meets artistry. Her story is reinvention by design: always learning, always creating, always grounded in authenticity. “This is what thirty years of not giving up looks like,” she says with a laugh.

 

The "Love Is Light World", as Angelica calls it, was born from a deeply personal spiritual experience. The book—also illustrated by Angelica—is a modern fairy tale for the child within us, available in three editions: English, English/French, and Romanian/English. The song—written, orchestrated, and produced by her—blends orchestral depth with cinematic storytelling and was written in both English (Love Is Light released February 17, 2026) and Romanian (Aripi de Lumină to be released July 14, 2026).

 

Both the book and the music share one message: choose love over fear, and remember that everything is worthy of compassion—even the parts of ourselves we don’t always understand. Together, they invite children and adults alike to embrace compassion and cultivate acceptance of ourselves and one another.

Award-Wining Author and Pop/Classical Singer Angelica Ganea to Launch New Children's Book with Live Performance at Indigo Bookstore The Well, Toronto

 

TORONTO, ON, October 9, 2025 - Award-winning Romanian-Canadian author, singer and songwriter Angelica Ganea will celebrate the launch of her new children's book, Love Is Light: Transmute Fear Into Love, with a special event at Indigo Bookstore The Well in Toronto. The event, which includes a live performance, will take place on November 9th, 2025, marking the official release of the English-only version of the book and its companion single Love Is Light. The event is an "enchanting Sunday afternoon of story and song." Ganea will read form her new book, sign copies for attendees, and perform her new original single, Love Is Light, which premiers on the same day.
